Our family has been enjoying hatching and raising our own chickens on the farm for over ten years.

As a homeschool mom, I have loved the hands on educational opportunities and real life science that unfolds right before my children’s eyes. I saw first hand the uncontainable excitement hatching would bring when my kids would hear the first chicks begin to peep during the night and they would wake me up to witness the miracle of a brand new life unfolding. The waiting and learning, all leading up to the incredible moment when you first hold that irresistibly fluffy life in your hand.

I started Hatch a Batch after repeatedly lending my incubators and eggs to friends and neighbours all wanting the chance to enjoy and experience the benefits of hatching at home with their own families.
